Who We Are

The LGBTQ Community in Canada are highly under-served. There are little to no LGBT news sources. The biggest news stories in the LGBTQ community have frequently been missed by what little queer media there is.

We have years of producing LGBT content for an audience that stretches from coast to coast. Covering current events and stories that are important to the LGBT+ community.

This campaign is incredibly important, there are so many stories in the LGBT community that either never get past the local paper or CBC, or are national but lack depth or follow up. Queer.News intended to be a bi-weekly email subscription magazine. We will work with local writers and other media producers to create content (written, audio, video), and share that exclusively with our subscribers.

Our Price Pledge

We believe that GLBT news should be accessible. We strive to balance the need for quick and easy access to the latest news with the need to pay the journalists fairly.

We at Queer.News have set bench marks for success. Once we’ve secured 500 subscribers at our pilot rate of $5/per issue we will reduce the cost of the issues for all subscribers to $4/per issue. Once we’ve reached over 1,000 subscribers the cost will reduce to $3.50.
